Whittling Away at Free Will and All Freedoms

The secular elite is assaulting our belief in "free will". Educational and cultural indoctrination are propagandizing Americans that our actions are determined by our physiology not our volition. The culprit for our decisions is now predetermined by our genes, our chemical imbalances or our stage of development. Good old-fashioned personal responsibility is being whittled away. How can you possess personal responsibility when you have no free will to choose? The secular elite is lowering the bar for citizen standards. Moral and cultural relativists know weakening American values and morals means a fragile nation, a civilization in turmoil and eventual enslavement.

Pseudo science and professional marketing are powerful methods of subverting our traditional culture. A new study shows teenagers have no choice in being lazy. Now laziness is said to be caused by age related brain development not personal decision. "Stigma of Laziness Threatened," Tampa Tribune, Tampa Tribune, Feb. 29, 2004, p. 21 There is a manufactured biological explanation in our counter culture for obesity, inattentiveness , depression, alcoholism, drug, sex and gambling addiction, and now laziness. Tomorrow there will be a gene found for throwing garbage out of the car window. Of course being a slob is not a choice.

Through the process of emphasizing certain information, no matter how dubious, these cultural engineers are changing our society. It is a gradual eroding of the character of our citizens. Irresponsible people without a strong sense of values and morals are easily manipulated. This strategy of lowering the common denominator of acceptable behavior does change the perceptions of almost everyone including the strongest elements of society. Condoning people's negative choices is deteriorating the social fabric of our nation.

Only strong individual leaders can effectively defeat this secular elite. These cultural warriors must recognize and alert their fellow countrymen to the falsehoods spread via the media and educational institutions. They should counter attack by noting the illogical deviousness of this politically correct agenda. The importance of maintaining a moral course throughout this cultural war is essential for stabilizing our nation. Free will is essential for personal responsibility and a free democratic society. We Americans have to rely on our eyes, our hearts and our critical thinking to break the chains of politically correct propaganda that choke off our freedoms.
