Boycott Hollywood to Rejuvenate America's Reputation at Home and Abroad

Domenick J. Maglio, Ph.D. Neo Traditionalist

America is a violent, anti-minority, criminal ridden, hedonistic, greedy and corrupt society eager to exploit its people and the rest of humanity. This is the image Hollywood paints of us.

The exporting of anti American propaganda is creating America’s self hatred and hatred from around the world. From Oliver Stone to Michael Moore directors have been able to create a false impression of America. Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 911 docudrama has convinced some Americans and many Europeans that 9/11 was not an Al-Qaida operation. Rather it was a Bush and friends conspiracy.

Moore’s latest salvo, Sicko, was released a few months ago. This distorted picture blatantly attempts to embarrass the health care system of the US while exalting the crumbling socialistic system of Cuba. Fidel, the totalitarian, who has accumulated an alleged 900 million dollars, had such little faith in his country’s health care that he sent his private jet to Spain for a surgeon to operate on him.

In November 2002, director Steven Spielberg after a pilgrimage to speak to the same tyrant, Fidel, stated the experience was “the most important eight hours of my life. Hollywood swoons over self-promoting sadistic despots.

Celebrities, Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Harry Belafonte in their infinite wisdom have paid homage to “mini Fidel”, the two-bit dictator/actor, Hugo Chavez. Their obvious manipulation by this sociopathic intimidator says volumes about their feelings towards America and their IQ.

Hollywood elites are not only undermining America’s reputation overseas but are debasing our own culture at home. Their movies, videos and music, especially Rap are corrupting our image while adversely affecting the cultures of other nations. It is a cancer spreading anti American values, beliefs and feelings everywhere.

Mainstream Hollywood domestically has ripped the heart out of America’s most cherished values replacing them with trash. It has cashed in on the debasement of men and women and exalted the brattiness of children. The worst of human nature, evil, selfishness, drugs, laziness, permissiveness, spinelessness and greed are glorified while traditional virtues are portrayed as corny, naïve or worse, hypocritical.

The film medium is often a virtual life experience. The sights, sounds and emotions create a reality making it difficult for people to distinguish truth from fiction. It is with the manipulation of the character’s human emotions that the most subtle though powerful means of propaganda has evolved.

Our traditional heroes, instead of being portrayed as dignified people with extraordinary character, are depicted as sinister. According to the pseudo intellectual producers and writers, honor is a construct of cynical men attempting to control the masses. Faith and morals exist for the weak and the hypocritical. All men eventually fall to vices making us immoral equals.

Hollywood elite’s answer to existence is to dismiss right and wrong. Do what you feel like doing, “do your own thing” is their mantra. This perverted vision is nothing more than a Sodom and Gomorrah world of debauchery.

Now these same immature, warped and angry minds bleed away the trust the world has for the goodness of the American people. The worst part of Hollywood is not its negative influence on the rest of the world but the way it weakens all of our institutions.

The film industry must be held accountable for their inaccuracy. With freedom of speech as a cornerstone of a representative republic we cannot expect our government to censure Hollywood’s hate America crowd.

Only the American people can censure them by not viewing their productions. This will send a loud and clear message about the destructive effect it is having nationally and internationally. We must speak up against the evil influence. Hollywood will only listen when it is punished through its pocketbook.

Objective, non-biased filmmakers will step forward and we must support their honest message about the good and honorable people of America. We are far from a perfect society though our goodness outweighs our misdeeds. Instead of Hollywood brainwashing us and people of other countries against America, we must vote through our dollars to reshape this morally corrupt industry without a soul.
