A Revolt Against X-ing God

Dr. Domenick J. Maglio, Ph.D. Neo-Traditionalist

Xmas, the removal of Christ from Christmas has been largely accomplished. Presently we are witnessing the attempt to eliminate even the secular symbols of Christmas. The removal of any vestige of the concept of God allows power-crazed men to elevate themselves above other men. Historically prosecution of believers in God has occurred to prepare a society to accept a man as god. From the pharaohs to medieval kings, from dictators to totalitarian communist leaders man can only pose as a god to man by repressing the freedom of people to discuss and worship God.

In our PC thought control culture the ACLU has been the organization to relentlessly confront any reference to God in our public arena. The assault on the Pledge of Allegiance’s words “under God” , coins with “In God we Trust”, the Ten Commandments and banning any mention of God in school prayer are a few examples of how the secular elites are attempting to censor the use of the word “God”

The secular elite’s incredible success has been based on exploiting our legal system to establish the civil rights of the minority to oppress the majority and to take literary license to create an artificial wall between church and state. By quoting out of context some framers of the constitution’s personal writings, not the constitution, these anti-god proponents have convinced many Americans that the constitution specifically mentions separation of church and state.

Our founding fathers were overwhelmingly believers in God, convened sessions with prayer and openly wrote about the need for our republic to be rooted in following the commandments of God Our constitution forbids a state establishing a particular state religion which is a far cry from excluding any mention of God in a public venue.

Simultaneously with the ACLU’s legal battle to exclude God from the vocabulary of Americans, there was a commercial assault on the meaning of Christmas. The emphasis on the spiritualism of Christmas has shifted to materialism. Santa Claus is already displayed in stores before summer ends. We have moved from the Christ-like joy of giving to the greed of receiving. People line up hours before department stores open to trample each other to grab a bargain. Christ has been x-ed out of Xmas.

Just like the deflated Santa Claus lawn ornaments sprawled like corpses, the spirituality of Christmas has been sapped. The number of gifts and amount of money spent or received in presents has become the focus of Xmas, not spirituality. Xmas is indisputably established. Even the local public school sign read “Xmas Concert. Our children have little to no understanding of the significance of Xmas vs. Christmas.

This legal and commercial eroding of Christmas has taken a bizarre twist. A small and often isolated minority of assorted pseudo-intellectual, malcontents and crazies in local communities have been emboldened to do the following: hang Santa Claus from a tree in effigy in Miami, display a bloodied Santa Claus in the front yard of their NYC home and ban school children from wearing red or green clothing in Plano, Texas.

More disturbing than these ridiculous events is the decision for several mega churches to cancel Sunday services on Christmas because of expected low attendance and for everyone’s convenience. The excuses were that they wanted families to spend Christmas Sunday as a family day and not waste the church’s staff and volunteer’s time and effort.

These clergy are not leading us towards God nor protecting us from our own destructive selfishness. The loss of faith in God in America leaves a vacuum. The unguarded moral gate of a nation invites an evil man to pompously parade through it to sit on the throne as a demigod. This is already happening with many of our younger people and older hedonistic fools who worship deviant Hollywood celebrities as man-gods.

The great news is there has been a spontaneous grass roots revolt. It is liberating to break the yoke of “thought control”. People are defiantly saying “MERRY CHRISTMAS”. Many large retail stores have been instructing their employees to greet customers with “Happy Holidays” Customers are refusing to accept “Happy Holidays” and are responding with an aggressive, “MERRY CHRISTMAS”. Employees readily reply with a smile, “Merry Christmas to you”.

The Christmas revolt has been launched. Consciously and courageously battling for the freedom to celebrate and worship God in America will keep us free from the incubation of tyranny on American shores. We will close the gate forcing evil to retreat. God Bless America.
